Dartmouth makes its debut in the
NSCAA/adidas National Poll at 13th
Hanover, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's soccer team (9-3-1/4-0 Ivy) has
entered the NSCAA/adidas Top-25 Poll for the first time this season. After receiving votes last week, the squad rocketed to
13th nationally on the heels of a 4-0 start to Ivy play and a 1-0 win over then #10 Boston University.
Dartmouth also earned a #1 ranking in the Northeast for the first
time this season. That ranking puts the Big Green ahead of schools such as Boston University, Boston College and Brown in
the strong 41-team region.
Notre Dame tops the national poll for the second-straight week,
with North Carolina and UCLA rounding out the top-three. At 13th, Dartmouth is ranked higher than the likes of Texas, Florida,
Purdue, Stanford and BU.
The Big Green's defense, which has not allowed a goal since September
15, is in the top-15 nationally in several statistical categories. The squad ranks 8th in shutout percentage at 0.69, 11th
in goals against average at 0.453 and 12th in save percentage at 0.887. Individually, junior goalkeeper Amanda Webb (Danvers,
Mass.) is ranked 12th in goals against average (0.479) and 15th in save percentage (0.882).
Head Coach Angie Hind and the Big Green will head to UNH (READ RESULTS

it takes on Columbia.
DARTMOUTH vs UNH
Hanover, N.H. – The 13th-ranked Dartmouth women's soccer team
knocked off in-state rival New Hampshire, 2-0 this afternoon. It was the fifth consecutive win for the Big Green, who extended
its unbeaten and shutout streak to nine games. Dartmouth has not allowed a goal since Sept. 15.
'We are definitely
excited to get this win," said Head Coach Angie Hind. "UNH is always a tough game because there is a lot of local pride at
stake."
Dartmouth earned its local bragging rights in convincing fashion, out-shooting New Hampshire 15-3 and not allowing
a single shot on goal. The Big Green pummelled Wildcat goalkeeper Lynn Gugliuzza with 11 shots on goal, but she made nine
saves in an impressive outing.
