’65, it’s time to Sign up for our 40th!
We’ve been rolling along a number of roads, and thankfully, we have the chance for yet another road trip
through the north woods: our 40th Reunion in Hanover on June
13-16, 2005. It’s true, time marches on, and it is time we caught up with some old friends and made a few new ones.
We are still on the road. We have ideas to share. We have plans to make. We have stories to tell. We can laugh.
We can cry a little. We can listen. We can learn from one another. We can have a grand time together. Back in 1965, we cared
about each other…and we still do. This is the moment to break away from our routines and head for the hills of Hanover.
A Registration Form is enclosed along with schedules of events and
activities. (Note Jim Hamilton’s enclosed rendering of Registration Check in. Change is good.)
Our reunion committee has been busy setting up several days of camaraderie, entertainment, sports activities
and discussion. You can stay busy every minute or take some time to just soak up a bit of nostalgia with a walk across the
Green with a friend. Flexibility abounds.
As you make your plans, give some thought to getting together with a group of classmates with special interests.
So far, there are plans afoot with crew, rugby, skiing, and ROTC. If you have interest in convening a group, send me an email
(Pete). I will connect you with the College’s data base information for your group.
You will note some details on the Registration Form. The cost per classmate is $375 with discounts (!) for friends
and family. The registration fee includes dinners, lunches, receptions and entertainment, among other miscellany.
Fees are 100% refundable prior to May 31st so there are no excuses. Sign up tonight. Envelopes are included.
College Housing information and costs will be forwarded separately.
Let us know if you are a sure thing (or even a “maybe” via email) so we can begin to get our head
counts in order and plan properly.
Recalling the words of John Sloan Dickey, “Only out of commitment
is any man fulfilled with his fellows…in the embrace of fellowship,” we must respond to this call. It is time to gather again and regain friendships as we travel down our roads.
You need to be in Hanover in June. Tell your
friends and family you will be…Still On The Road!
We’re ready for a terrific time together.
